'Abbey' is a black 1600 V-special
Her previous owner has had her for the last 15 years, & to be fair, was in tears to see her go. We've promised to forward him photos of her when she's finished.

Since getting Abbey the following work has been carried out:
Being a V-Special she has all the the normal toys:
We have good history with including old MOTs & service book.
- Black/tan seats & door-cards
- Up-graded door & headrest speakers
- Tan hood with heated rear screen
- Full service
- New clutch & shift boot
- New cam-belt, tensioners, water pump, aux belts
- Cas 'O' ring replaced, plus re-timed to 14 tdc
- Coolant flushed & replaced
- New fluids in gearbox, diff & gearbox turret
- Brakes stripped, cleaned, details & rebuilt
Being a V-Special she has all the the normal toys:

- Electric aerial
- Power steering
- Nardi wooden steering wheel, gear knob, handbrake sleeve.
We have good history with including old MOTs & service book.
- The MOT runs till 28/07/2012
- She's not taxed but can be taxed at cost

- New clutch ordered
- Seats re-trims ordered
- The doorcards sorted
- Replacement tan hood with glass rear window
Work has start....
Work has started, the brakes have been stripped, cleaned & detailed satin black, this gives a very clean look as the satin isn't in your face like gloss would be.
With the parts now sourced, it will not be long before she'll be back to her former glory!
That's the nearside rear quarter polished up.....better start on the door next. All the interior is ready to be refitted, it's not been put in yet as we don't want it marked when the other work is being carried out.
With the cam-belt, tensioners, CAS 'O' ring, water-pump, aux belt plus coolant replaced along with a full service there's not much more to do, apart from replacing the hood & the clutch!
That's the roof changed she's now fitted with a tan vinyl with heated glass rear window & the clutch fitted.
The final little bits to do now, all the interior is in, the hood is now cleaned, so just the final polish........
